CLC Space is currently recruiting an Oracle WebCenter Content, Liferay, Wordpress consultant to provide support for the Intranet & Website at their client’s headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany.
JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide Oracle WebCenter Content, Liferay & Wordpress Support in the Enterprise Data and Application team (EDA) of the Information and Communication Technology Support (ICT) Division. The major elements of the ICT environment are:
Website and Extranets based on Oracle WebCenter Content 11g and SSXA;
Intranet 3 based on Oracle WebCenter Stellent 7.6;
Intranet 4 based on Liferay 6.2;
Public Sites based on Wordpress 4.6;
Customized Commercial off-the-Shelf Software (e.g. Org Chart System);
Software Lifecycle Management Tools, primarily Bugzilla, Jira and Subversion.
The tasks will be carried out at EUMETSA T facilities in Darmstadt, but it may require very limited travel within Europe may be required for certain activities.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be expected to perform the following key tasks, which will include as a minimum:
1. Oracle WebCenter Content Development
(main task for Website & Extranets, very low effort task for Intranet 3)
Design, implement, maintain, administer, test, document and deliver the EUMETSAT
Website & Extranets based on the Oracle WebCenter 11g Content Management System
& SSXA, Java, Java EE and Oracle Database following the full application development
and maintenance cycle;
Design, implement, maintain, administer, test, document and deliver bug fixes for Intranet
3 based on the Oracle Stellent 7.6 Content Management System, Java, Java EE and
Oracle Database following the full application development and maintenance cycle;
2. Liferay Development (main task)
Design, implement, maintain, administer, test, document and deliver the upcoming
Intranet 4 based on Liferay 6.2 Portal, Java, Java EE and Oracle Database following the
full application development and maintenance cycle;
3. Wordpress Development (main task)
Design, implement, maintain, administer, test, document and deliver various public and
internal sites based on Wordpress 4.6, PHP and MySql following the full application
development and maintenance cycle;
Liaise & coordinate with the external hosting contractor taking care of Wordpress
hosting, installation, upgrade, patching & monitoring;
4. COTS Application Maintenance (low effort task)
Specify, customize, integrate and maintain client-server based COTS systems and
document the customisation and integration in the EUMETSAT environment.
Furthermore you will be expected to support the following tasks, but to a lesser extent
than the key tasks.
It is foreseen, that the detailed tasks will include as a minimum:
General Tasks
Liaise & coordinate with infrastructure teams;
Liaise & coordinate with the external contractor monitoring the systems;
Administer systems and update related documentation;
Upgrade & patch Java, Java EE & Apache releases;
Provide third level support for existing applications, systems and services;
Design, implement, test and integrate HTML5/CCS3 based web pages and dynamic pages and provide content contribution support for these pages;
Gather and document system requirements / constraints and review user requirements;
Document the tasks and deliverables according to EUMETSAT working practices;
Perform the related quality assurance, configuration and change management activities;
Contribute to project planning and reporting
YOUR PROFILE
You shall have the following mandatory skills / experience:
• A university degree in computer science, software engineering (or equivalent);
• Oracle WebCenter Content Development o At least 3 years professional experience in developing sites and content with Oracle WebCenter Content 11g, SSXA 11g, Site Studio 7;
o Experience in administration and configuration of Oracle WebCenter 11g, WebLogic 11g and Apache;
o Experience in integrating systems with Web Services/SOAP;
• Liferay Development
o At least 2 years professional experience in developing sites, portlets and content with Liferay 6.2;
o Experience in administration and configuration of Liferay and Oracle Glassfish;
• Wordpress Development
o At least 2 years professional experience in developing sites and content with Wordpress 4.6;
o Experience in administration and configuration of Wordpress and MySql;
• General Tasks
o At least 5 years professional experience in developing, managing and administrating sites;
o Professional experience with JSP, JavaScript, Idoc Script, HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, Ajax, XML, XSLT, PHP, JSF, Java, Servlets, Oracle SQL;
o Knowledge of Windows operating system;
o Proven experience in formal documentation, preferably in a ISO 9000 certified project and service environment;
o Fluency in written and verbal English;
o High degree of autonomy, good personal communication skills (oral and writing) and strong customer-oriented approach to interact with EUMETSAT personnel.
In addition to the above requirements, experience / knowledge in the following areas shall be considered a distinct advantage:
• COTS Application Maintenance
Professional experience in integrating and customising COTS systems;
• General Tasks o Experience in integrating systems with LDAP/AD, SMTP;
o Knowledge of tag based web analytic tools and related analysis and other web statistics;
o Knowledge of ITIL, in particular with respect to change and configuration management fundamentals and principles;
o Team working skills.
